Random shots from Gemma's Nikon D40

These are my shots when I still don't have my own camera. I borrowed a Nikon D40 from my friend, Gemma Javier. I needed her cam for my photography class. Funny thing is when I was finished with my shooting, I found out that I'm already "Failed due to absences" in my class hahaha. So yeah, I retook the subject when I already got my own dslr. :))

Random shots with Panasonic Lumix dmc-fz7

If you're planning to get into photography as a hobby but in very a tight budget, I suggest you get Panasonic Lumix dmc-fz7. I know there are newer models and I think this is the oldest. Even if this is the grandpa of latest versions of Lumix, it does have the sharp and crisp quality of a picture taken from a dslr, kinda similar to Canon Powershot. Has manual mode, macro, apperture priority, shutter priority, program mode and auto, Leica lens and 12x zoom, and yes it has a video recorder that has good audio too. Not good on low light and night shots tho, even with it's built-in flash. Can't do motion shots like panning and sports. But with it's 12x zoom you'd have fun doing macro shots :) And with its small built and light weight, it's easy to bring anywhere you go specially if you travel a lot. :)
